All the pictures of him and Darth Cheney out on the campaign trail show them, back to a wall of people, waving over the heads of a few people to something past the cameras...

Are there people out there? Or did everyone who showed up get stuck up into that wall of people.

Yes, there are full houses. When they go to towns like Sellersburg, Statesboro and Elko, pop. around 20,000, it is quite possible to fill up the gym with 4,000
groupies, the high school band, those with military family members, etc.
Why, Laura Bush got 200 yesterday---5 miles from the gates of Ft. Knox.

IMO, these photo ops are well planned but possibly insignificant. Where are the screaming rallies of 50,000 in the big cities? What does it mean that THIS president has this kind of schedule?
