Was this a prank or a domestic terrorist attack? I thought the GOP was keeping us safe?

Why isn't it a bigger story?

1. I read something about this last night and was wondering the
same thing. So far, no mention about this bombing on the MSM, who usually LOVES it when bombs explode.

2. It's harder for Bombs to get the attention they dserve these days
Maybe if that bomb had botched a joke or had sex with an intern, it could get some recognition. But baring that?

3. So, a building being bombed is like those guys who run on the
field during a sporting event? They never show them on tv so they don't encourage them?

5. My guess is this is about PayPal's stubborn resolve to not serve their customers
The amazing thing is, I bet they bought the bomb components on Ebay, and that the seller still hasn't been paid.

7. because it is a week pre-election and besides, you insult the troops
"It could have been a Halloween thing, it could have been kids, it could have been something larger,'' said San Jose Police Sgt. Nick Muyo. ``If it's a Halloween prank it's a sophisticated one.''

Saw the crowd outside just after the explosion. Didn't look like much.

11. Never EVER go gawking after a bomb goes off
It is a common practice to use a smaller bomb to cause a building to be evacuated and/or attract gawkers before using a larger bomb to kill lots of people.

It's even printed in the US Army Field Manuals as a guerrilla warfare tactic.

And it's what The Olympic Park Bomber did when he bombed an abortion clinic.

He put the second explosive device next to where he new people would be standing after they evacuated the building.

If a bomb goes off somewhere, don't mosey over there to look at the damage.

If a bomb goes off in your building, don't linger at the standard "rallying point." Find somewhere else to be.
