Our October 23 survey showed Corker with the same wispy advantage, then of 47% to 46%. With leaners, Corker had a two-point edge in that poll as well.

1. Ford has fallen wayyy behind(in most recent polls) as of late.
I think those smear campaigns are working. I also hope Rasmussen is more right than anybody else.

2. i think rasmussen leans to the right so i think it's possible Ford could pull
a big upset and win.

6. I hate to say it...
...but I think those ads which played on racist feelings probably are to blame. I hope I am wrong about this...but it sure looks like the fall in the polls is consistent with those ugly ads.

4. don't cherry pick polls
Look at the aggregate and the trends. Its not very likely Ford pulls this one off. Virginia is much more likely right now.

Let's wait for the election and we look foolish when we embrace the polls when we like the results and reject them when we don't...

9. Just talked to a guy from Ten. here in Toledo,
Said he remembered a charge or allegation on Corker of corruption from when he was mayor. I'm at work so I can't check it out.
