Which race are you most interested in seeing the results of?
I am guessing most will say the one that is where they live. I know that's my choice, as #1

Gillibrand v. Sweeney - NY20

But also Webb v. Allen, Ford v. Corker and Cardin v. Steele.

24. 11 is an interesting race.
The back edge of my property abuts the Stanislaus river, and the 11 line is right in the middle of it, so even though I'm not actually IN the 11th, it's very much a "local" race for me.

I have to say that I'm a bit suprised...I never thought that I'd see Pombo have any real competition. He has Democratic challengers every campaign, but they're largely invisible. To see one poll as high as McNerney is a breath fo fresh air.

It's a long shot that McNerney will win it, but I'm hoping he does. As much as I hate to see a Bay Area outsider representing the Valley, I'd vote for a freaking dog over Pombo. It's just a shame I can't vote in that election :(

I think if we win VA we have a good chance to win the Senate. If we win AZ, I think it will be a blow out election.

16. Webb vs. Felix Macaca
Two reasons:

1. Felix is bush on steroids; a vote against him is a vote against the GOP
2. Knock Felix out of the running for 2008

18. California Secretary of State. DEBRA BOWEN vs. Bruce McDiebold (er...
Bruce McPherson, Diebold's shill, appointed by Schwarzenegger, whom I think benefited from the first Diebold election in California, the weird '03 Recall, with 125 candidates on the ballot--very easy to shift votes around, via the Diebold GEMS central tabulators). (I think this may be what our good Sec of State Kevin Shelley was onto, and why he went after Diebold with tooth and claw--sued them, demanded to see their source code, de-certified their touchscreens--and why the Dark Lords retaliated, and "swift-boated" Shelley out of office on bogus corruption charges, and appointed McDiebold, to put the lid back on that Pandora's Box. Which he has done, and then some.)

McDiebold now has to earn the office (with Diebold's help), vs. DEBRA BOWEN, a Dem, and lifelong advocate of open government and transparent elections (served with distinction in the CA Senate).

This may be the most important race in the country, and may determine the NATION's policy on Bushite electronic voting corporations "counting" all our votes with TRADE SECRET, PROPRIETARY programming code.

The Dem candidate for gov, Phil Angelides, is losing in California (according to polls), and may take the whole state ticket down with him, including DEBRA BOWEN, whom we desperately need for Sec of State. But Californians have a penchant for putting opposite party candidates into the secondary state offices--Lt. Gov, A.G., and Sec of State. Let's hope that happens. Bruce McDiebold is a bloody menace. As is Schwarz. If Bowen goes down, you will for sure start hearing about how California is becoming a "red state," with weird and surprising Bushite victories.

California is under siege!

19. PA, MD, and VA Senate
Maryland Senate because I live here, and have a personal stake in it.

PA because my parents live there, and Tricky Ricky is a blight on humanity. VA because I live across the river from it, and Macacawitz is also a blight on humanity.

25. The US Senate, the US house!
I care about overall results more than anything, due to the way our system works. However, there's 3 races I would enjoy victory in very much:

-Az-05 (JD Hayworth needs to go)

-Webb v. Allen (Allen was a front-runner for president.. this would kill it)

-McCaskill v Talent (We need as many progressive women in the Senate as possible! Also Talent = barf)

27. NY 3 Peter King V David Mejias
this race is a lot closer than anyone expected. Mejias has gotten the endorsement of both the NY Times & Newsday.

NEWSDAY ENDORSES: In 3rd C.D., it's time for a change
Challenger offers pragmatic approach http://www.newsday.com/news/opinion/ny-vpend014955299nov01,0,434564.story

Please New Yorkers, if you have some free time this weekend up till Election Day, go to David's site and volunteer your time, money or both! We can do this! Lets send that bag of wind Pete King into retirement...lets not forget despite King being chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee this year - which should have been good for New York - he failed to prevent a 40-percent cut in federal anti-terror dollars to the state. Not to mention his bill for that ridiculous unfunded border fence and his continous "stay the course" bush speak on Iraq.

We can do this! Please go to Dave's site! Thank You!

Interested in Ford V Corker, Webb V Allen, all the races!
