"You can send a signal to special interests and lobbyists that the party's over," says Democratic congressional candidate Bryan Kennedy, in a new television ad that begins airing on Friday. In the ad, Kennedy discusses the ineptitude and rampant corruption in Congress, encouraging the people of Wisconsin's 5th Congressional District to throw entrenched career politician Jim Sensenbrenner out of office.
The ad is intended to contrast with the overproduced, overtly negative advertisements that have characterized many of the races in the state. To that end, it features Kennedy facing the camera, speaking directly to voters. The ad is visible on the candidate's website (visible here:
http://www.bk2006.org/video.html), and will run on several local stations through November 7th.
