This is incredible news. I haven't seen a turnaround this large in any seat in this election. Charlie Bass was literally leading his Democratic challenger by a huge 28% margin six months ago. Now, he's losing in the same University of New Hampshire poll, by 8 points, and his fellow Republican has been dragged down below 50%, and is now leading by only 5%.

U of NH poll:

(R) Bass: 37%
(D) Hodes: 45%

(R) Bradley: 47%
(D) Shea-Porter: 42%

Previous U of NH poll 4 months ago:

(R) Bass: 53%
(D) Hodes: 25%

(R) Bradley: 58%
(D) Shea-Porter: 24%

8. Great stuff.
I think the lack of news coverage is just fine, because otherwise, it would risk inspiring more Republicans to vote for their candidate.

4. Just amazing.
I'd love to see my neighbors elect some good folks. Go Paul! Go Carol!
As the Magistrate would say: "Let's get those Bush bastards!"

9. Great News!
And NH CD1 is in play now also.

I just blogged about Carol Shea-Porter earlier today at DU GD-P, here:

11. Great news about ol' Jeb.
It would be nice to think my vote against him made a difference. Just a week ago, when I sent in my absentee ballot, it seemed like he had a lock on the seat. If even he can lose in this state, things are looking awfully good for the Dems.
