My letter to Senator McCain.

Dear Senator McCain,

I was really disappointed to see you not only did NOT stand up for Senator Kerry, but you attacked him for his mis-statement regarding President Bush and getting us stuck in Iraq.

You know what he meant to say. You are too bright a man not to realize what Kerry was saying. I understand politics are politics. But I thought Senator Kerry was your friend. Someone you worked closely with on legislation and issues benefiting Vets.

I know that President Bush slandered you in the 2000 election. And I'm positive you are aware that this is Bush's and his cronies MO. Smear people on what they're strong on. Nothing is too low for Bush and his surrogates. Even if it means making up things about a distinguished Veteran. And You know this.

So that's why it completely baffles me that you would join in perpetuating the phony offense this administration (an administration that made up horrible things about you, disrespected your family and smeared you mercilessly) pretends to have taken with your supposed friend, John Kerry.


Senator...what is wrong with you? You get kicked around by Bush and pals...and then you stand next them, NOT to just nod in agreement...but to vocally HELP in ripping a friend?

Where is your integrity? Have you no shame? Have you anything resembling a backbone?

With friends like you, who needs enemies.
