How many people were brought back to DU by the attack on Kerry?

Two people from another thread said they were so upset by the swift boating of Kerry part two, that they came back to DU for the first time in a long time.

Seems Kerry is causing a DU family reunion! More proof the attack backfired and riled up our base and not theirs!!!! Yes we won and they LOST!!!!!

I don't know if Kerry screwed up or laid a trap to get the discussion back to Iraq. The reality from my POV is he pulled the discussion back to Iraq, definitely the biggest screw up of this administration and the party that empowers them. I think most people with even the most modest reasoning skills could see the opposition went over the top to make this seem like a scandal. One thing I know is my neighbors aren't stupid, they may be poorly informed, but they are more self-sufficient and observant than any fortunate son millionaire I've ever met. Most of what I hear is " WHY THE FUCK" are you beating me up with this shit? A politician said something dumb...This is news? Just FOAD mkay? I'm glad some people came back into the fold because of this contrived controversy but what the fuck put you off from open, honest discussion? I mean that is what we're all about.

I'm sorry if I sound a bit pissed, but this is going to be a rough week. We should try to tone down the disagreements and in-fighting and work toward the common goal of getting our country back in the control of sane people. I love y'all, but can't we all just get along? I mean we all want the same thing, let's find a way to agree on what we need to do to make it happen.

Sorry to get off the intent of the OP, but it's been a rough day. From my POV, JK has never done anything but stand up for what he believes. I never lost faith in his interest and support for what this nation should mean to all of us.

I'd love to think that the regressive party will get cut off at the scrotum, but I can't believe that would be possible unless someone knows how much it will hurt them if it doesn't happen.
