Help me here! "Married Father of Five Pays to Have Gay Sex Once a Week?

What is this? Is this guy a "Mega Bi-Sexual?"

Being a Hetero...I just don't get a guy or gal married with five children getting it off with a "same sex" once a week and paying for the thrill.

Can someone help me understand this? :shrug:

Haggard, a married father of five, did not return calls seeking comment, though he told KUSA-TV late Wednesday: "Never had a gay relationship with anybody, and I'm steady with my wife, I'm faithful to my wife."

In a written statement, Haggard said: "I am voluntarily stepping aside from leadership so that the overseer process can be allowed to proceed with integrity. I hope to be able to discuss this matter in more detail at a later date. In the interim, I will seek both spiritual advice and guidance."

Mike Jones told The Associated Press that Haggard paid him to have sex nearly every month for three years. His allegations were first aired on KHOW-AM in Denver.

Jones said that he had advertised himself as an escort on the Internet and that a man who called himself Art contacted him. Jones said he later saw the man on television identified as Haggard.

He said that he last had sex with Haggard in August and that he did not warn him before making his allegations this week.

Jones said he has voicemail messages from Haggard, as well as an envelope he said Haggard used to mail him cash, though he declined to make any of it available to the AP.

"There's some stuff on there (the voicemails) that's pretty damning," he said.

Richard Cizik, vice president for government affairs for the evangelicals association, expressed shock.

"Is this something I can imagine of Ted Haggard? No," he said.

Carolyn Haggard, spokeswoman for the New Life Church, said a four-member church panel will investigate the allegations. She did not identify the board members. Carolyn Haggard is Ted Haggard's niece.

"This is really routine when any sort of situation like this arises, so we're prepared," she said. "The church is going to continue to serve and be welcoming to our community. That's a priority."

Most likely suffered a ton of guilt and beat himself up a bunch too. I have seen more than a few gay married men with kids. No one knew they were gay till one day the tell their wife "i'm gay" and leave. I have seen some do it in their 40's. Some i am sure always try to hold up the charade.

One lady i conversed with told me after her husband did it too her(and they had 4 kids)she understood why he wanted so much oral, and anal sex (not saying either is the sole providence of gays,they are her words).

I see what you are saying though and fully understand. I had a similar problem. Due to some abuse i had young i though i may be gay. I tortured nyself with it when i was a young man. I actually had to try for myself to find out i was not physically attracted to me. I just could never get aroused in a mans company.

I got married young and thought i might have been gay or bi during that time. It was very trying for me.

I also know "more than a few" closeted married men who are gay. In every case they were pushed into marriage by their families or the girl had been a "steady" since high school, yadda yadda yadda. To be married, sometimes happily, and form relationships with gay or even "straight" hustlers is common. I have a friend that was married in 1968, has two kids, and has had the same "boyfriend" since the 70s. In this case the wife knows however. Sounds improbable but works for them.

I'm hetero, but know many married men who discovered after many years of marriage that they preferred gay sex. I say, whatever melts your butter! This is why sex and religion should have no business in politics! Sadly, I don't think things will ever change. So why can't everyone just live and let live?

32. Yes...it does...from MY perspective and I'm trying to understand yours if

you are gay why you would marry a WOMAN (not being attracted physically to her,) and then have FIVE CHILDREN and pay once a week for sex with a guy.

I honestly asked a question...from my own perspective. It made no sense to me because I as a hetero female could not imagine a similar situation where I would marry a fellow female and then go out and pay a guy to "do me" once a week.

I'm just not attracted that way to fellow females and can't imagine if I was why I'd need to have a sexual relationship with a guy once a week...if I was a Lesbian.
