Meth Amphetamines ( Rev. Ted )
Edited on Fri Nov-03-06 12:50 AM by Brundle_Fly
Did I hear that correct on countdown...?

so not only do we have a pastor of a mega-church, who is also the leader of the National Association of Evangelicals. We'll just call him...oh The Rev. Ted Haggard. Basically the Grand Poohbah of over 30,000,000 evangelicals. Having paid $200-300 per visit, to a gay relationship with a male prostitute, in a regular encounter that lasted for over three years, all the while denouncing gay marriage and talking up his great relationship with *?!!?!!?

Oh and he was also taking Meth amphetamines, to enhance his sexual pleasure?

is it f*cking Christmas?

1. public service announcement...
Meth does not really 'enhance' the experience, it only prolongs it. You will wish you hadn't the next day, when EVERYTHING hurts and you never did get to the finish line, if you know what I mean.

We now return you to your normally scheduled thread....

Oh, yea! Santa came early this year.

11. I think that might explain a problem I noted in a relationship several years ago.
Meth??? Jeez. I thought it was just some emotional issue he had about not being able to relax and "let go", so to speak............

3. Being gay = absolutely fine, cheating on wife = wrong, using meth = illegal
But I must say, after watching his ass on TV, I am not surprised he was hopped up on it.

4. They Always Need A Drug To Hide Behind...
It's the escape hatch or the shelter depending on their situation. For Foley, the alcohol was to blame for his actions (coughbullshitcough) and this somehow made him want to chase after boys. I figger we'll hear Haggard was doing the Meth (imagine how hyper that SOB musta been) and that made him go for the boytoys. The escape hate hatch seems to be that since they were under the influence of something, this somehow account for their behavior and that they after doing the rehab thing they should be all forgiven and let free to chase after their real drug: money and power.

I don't know who this Charlatan is...so i'll be curious how this story plays out.
