So I'm dating a fundie... we just filled out her absentee ballot |
|
A couple of weeks ago a fundie, an Oral :wow: Roberts University Grad, born again... the whole nine yards, asked me out. We've been together since.
She is going to be out of town on Tuesday, and I helped her to secure an absentee ballot. We filled it out together over lunch.
She voted straight Green party line with the exception of Congress. She voted for Kristen Gillibrand cause we all don't like John Sweeney.
I think she really likes me.:)

5. They only Dem worth voting for --- she voted for |
|
All the other Dems are sure bets (Spitzer, Hevesi, Cuomo, Clinton). In a blue state, she voted for the most anti war, pro environment candidates.
I'll be voting the same way (Green at the top of the ticket, Dem locally - where it counts).
Peace Bluebear.

9. It sounds like she may be pretty liberal. |

She voted Green. Fundamentalist doesn't necessarily mean Republican. It is good to see that born out in the reality based world. :)
And she may not be strictly fundamentalist all on her own, her parents may have chosen her school.

I've taken her to see David Saderis and Arlo Guthrie so far. Plus a couple of fundraisers.

11. (on the working family party line, of course) |
|
The awesome kicker would be if it came down to the wire... She is registered GOP, and voted absentee... I hope she wins and it is not close, but I know that every vote counts.

7. Once you go blue, you'll always be true. |

I just made that up. :D
If she's voting Green, she's more than halfway there! Keep working on her... I suggest soft lights, strawberries dipped in chocolate and ... well, I think you can figure it out from there.

13. My hubby is a Dem now... |
|
...but when we met, he was a Republican.
But he was a good man, (and damn was he hot!) so I forgave him! lol He was a Republican because his family was Republican. He was also very open minded, and was a scientist at heart. I did not 'try' to convert him, but kept asking him questions about what he believed. We'd have long discussions about everything from politics to womens' rights.
Long story short, he's a Democrat now.
I wish your relationship all the best! :hi:
