Lieberman to take calls on radio at 9:10 AM (EST) today

Joe Lieberman will be appearing on WTIC AM 1080 in Hartford this morning, around 9:10 AM EST. WTIC is a 50,000 watt station, so is listenable through much of the Northeast.

The morning host said they will be taking calls. I believe the number is 1-800-966-WTIC (9842), but please verify on the WTIC website at www.wtic.com

Feel free to ask about his slush fund and if the Lieberman activist under investigation for election fraud got some of that money, or why he took money from Mel Sembler, the man whose business was torturing children, or why he flip-flops on just about every issue out there.

2. It's not easy to beat an 18 year incumbent

While Lamont got good publicity leading up to the primary, Joe Liebermanseems to have had the media on his side since. Lieby has done a good job in taking one out of the Rove playbook, in projecting his own weakness onto Lamont in that Lieberman has constantly accused Lamont of running a negative campaign, when the fact is that Lieby has run a far more negative campaign.

3. He should be asked if he will promise that, if he keeps the seat,

he will swear before God and on LIVE National TV, that he has not been offered Rumsfeld's position, nor will he ever consider taking it if offered.

....bunch of staged calls. people saying "hey senator, you are the greatest, blah blah blah". at the end, one of the hosts of the show asked him about the fishy campaign stuff and joe just said "hey, everything has been investigated by the FEC, i'm clean and always have been, blah blah blah".
