I heard an interesting thing on NPR this morning
A former speech writer for Bush, who apparently authored the administration's policies on Sudan, said that ideally he would like for the United States to send troops into Sudan to quell the violence rather than have to wait for international forces to go. But he said that with today's environment it would only incite Islamic terrorists.

It appears that they are finally realizing that the Neocon's desire to dominate the world militarily might not be feasible. Too bad they had to turn the world against us befor they figured that out.
