1. Yup. Nobody cares.
We wouldn't actually give a rat's ass if they found Osama, either.

They're irrelevant.

3. there are also reports out there
that the verdict will not be until after our (s)elections... not that one thing has anything to do with the other...
:eyes:  :boring:

ennywhoo- assuming Saddam will be found guilty, do you think it will have any effect one way or the other on the civil war in Iraq?

4. Where's Osama?
Recently I heard a "rock ribbed" local Repugnican utter the unthinkable just a few months ago. "Yanno, Iraq would be a lot better off with Saddam back in charge". Now this is a dude who had a yellow ribbon (made in China) on his SUV and used to say only the Repugnicans know the military and how to win wars.

Honestly, Monday gives almost no time for Rove to weave much out of this event. It put the focus and Iraq on the front pages as people get ready to go to the polls. Remember, this verdict was set months ago and probably under a far different game plan than has developed. This was supposed to be a big milestone in "winning" the war...but after a bloody October, it's another reminder of what a clusterfuck this invasion has become.

What people have and still are asking is about Osama. That's the dude who flew the planes into the buildings and finally a majority of the people finally "get it". Now will he release a new tape this weekend? What other trick does this regime have left?

5. I'm Not So Sure
I suspect the verdict will postponed again - the Iraqi's will want to wait to see which way the wind is blowing.

6. I think in a shocker he'll be acquitted
He'll then vow not to rest until he's tracked down the "real dictator".

And play some golf.

7. The headline should be, "Millions of Americans Expected to Fall
for Cheap Election Season Ploy"
