in the Philly suburbs. What's neat is that I'm not just going to see him speak to a crowd. This is a small get together at a private home.

25. Tell him about us. Tell him ... |
|
we would work 24/7 to put him in the WH in 08. Tell him we're sorry we weren't there for him in '00. Tell him his nation needs him - not just anyone will do to save America and to fix the mess we're in. It has to be someone with the vision, the drive, the intelligence, and the experience. It needs to be him. His country needs him. We need him.
Can you tell I feel really strongly about this?
I envy you so much - I'd probably be completely tongue-tied!

That I'll be completely tongue-tied, shake his hand, maybe get a picture, and that's all. To be honest, that may be all I'll have the chance to do. For all I know, he may have some kind of planned talk or presentation that will take up most of the time. I've never been to one of these things before so I don't know. The event lasts 1 1/2 hours but for all I know, he'll show up for 5 minutes to shake hands. I may stop at a bookstore to see if I can buy one of his books to get signed.

I'd find a way to commit a substantial amount of money (by my standards) to whatever cause he recommended.
If it's a recording I hang up. I don't listen to recordings.

14. Of course I would be tongue tied, or I'd say the wrong thing, |
|
then I'd be embarrassed, then I'd kick myself for days for acting so stupid and play over and over in mind what I should have said. It would definitely bring out the Charlie Brown in me.

Now we can plan what to say if he calls. lol
I'd have to make a quick case for his 08 candidacy -just begging, I guess. The upside for him is light.

27. He's probably already anticipated that sort of reaction, so |
|
he'd probably just say, "Hi, I'm Al from the moveon.org headquarters," and then settle into a pleasant chat--the recipient never being the wiser who the caller really was.
I don't see him as being so lofty as to make such a scenario impossible.

24. I'd probably not snicker--I'd say "hey, nice work!" |

"You do stand up, yes?"
And then I'd probably start backpedaling. But in a respectful way, I'd hope.
