A new poll shows Mark Hanson has edged ahead slightly of Hollingsworth, one of the most right-wing Republicans in the CA Legislature. This is Hollywood stuff -- fire survivor, fed up with seeing fire victims sold out by a legislator who's in the pocket of the insurance industry, runs for the seat against overwhelming odds. (In fact, there's a Hollywood producer interested in Mark's story!)

Please....help Duers! We have to raise $2,000 by noon today in order to get this ad on more than 1 radio station over the weekend. Everyone locally is tapped out because of the Busby-Bilbray race. Every $100 donation buys a spot on a popular country station locally. $200 buys a spot on our Air America liberal station, and $500 would buy a spot on a nationally syndicated conservative talk show aired here.

Hollingsworth has got to go! He's in the running to replace Duncan Hunter in Congress in 08, when Hunter is stepping down to run for President (gag).
