President Bush will visit Nebraska on Sunday to try to help Republicans save a House seat they’ve held for 48 years.

Here's a little-known fact: Only three "red states" -- Idaho, Utah and Wyoming -- gave President Bush an approval rating of more than 50 percent last month, according to SurveyUSA. (Nebraska has Bush's approval at 46 percent.)

ryun is noteworthy because he gave an elegant speech on the house floor about how the estate tax had to be eliminated to avoid farmers losing their farms when family elders died.

but an iowa state university study found that from something like 1955 to 2000, not a single family farm was lost because of the estate tax.

that forever reduced ryun's credibility.
