Charlie Cook says 20 to 38 seats in the House |
|
are going to the Dems. Russert's other guest, Chris Cilliza, says any spin now says is that they can even hold the House. It is over. On the offensive Dems. Whip them.

1. Charlie is usually right. He probably is figuring 38 if the GOP does NOT cheat, and 20 if they doNT |

2. More good news - the media is watching the machines. |
|
However, the thought of electronic voting still scares the crud out-ta me.

3. well, with what seems like a new story breaking every day... |
|
those numbers could double, or be cut in half, by Tuesday. Not celebrating yet (but the hat and horn are handy).

6. Didn't we all do this just before 2002 and 2004, too? Or is my memory shot? |
|
Those criminal assholes still own the voting process in key states and the machinery in lots of states. So what on earth makes us so sure that they won't pull another amazing "last-second flood of religious-right voters" out of thin air (or out of somewhere, anyway)?

We were only a couple of points ahead of the Republicans in most polls.
Plenty of polls had Bush ahead in 2004.
This time, they're REALLY low. It's going to be a very different race this year.

10. Because a 52% to 27% margin of voter sentiment is too large to steal... |
|
...even for these fucking bastards....
If the overall is w/in the margin of error I'd say we'd better brace ourselves for some bad news, but when the Dems are THIS heavily favoured I am very, VERY cautiously optimistic about the outcome...

11. No. Everyone said Republicans would hold the House in 2002 |
|
and Charlie Cook even said they would pick up a few seats.

Until every race has been called, I'm not going to get my hopes up too high.
