OMG -- Sadaam Verdict SUNDAY MORNING. Poor republicans

What a disaster for the Pukes

Sadaam in the docks looks a picture of modernity and good sense
compare with the current crowd.

1. And the riots will sweep the country
regardless of the verdict. Thanks to bush Iraq will just keep getting worse.

3. My thoughts exactly...
...the riots that will break out in Iraq are gonna make what is going on now look somewhat pale in comparison.

Talk about being dumb ~~ the Repukes pushed this verdict date to capitalize on the 911 BS they have been using like whores since it happened and they NEVER stopped to think about the reaction in Iraq. Geeeeez, a bit short sighted on their part, IMO. All they must have focused on was about making sound-bites about how they rid Iraq of Saddam and never gave one thought to the violence that most certainly will break out.

Talk about cutting off one's nose to spite one's face. IMO, this is going to blow sky high in their faces...and they very rightfully deserve the result. Unfortunately, the Iraqis have never deserved the fucking over they have received from BushCo and this, IMO, is only going to make the situation worse.

Talk about pouring gas on an already blazing fire....sheesh!

8. I hope it doesn't come to that but watch for the reporters to report from inside
the hotel not even on the roof. That could be a "tell"

10. I agree with you...
...I hope so sincerely for the sake of our service personnel and the Iraqi people that the violence does not explode, but my gut tells me that we are looking at a nationwide "Rodney King Verdict" reaction in Iraq on the Saddam verdict.

And...I totally agree with you on the "tell." I, too, will be looking at this. Good point you made on that.

:hi:

9. Wouldn't it be a shame
if nationwide rioting in Iraq over hussein's verdict was the lead story on the National News Monday Night.

12. Unfortunately....
...for our military personnel on the ground for for Iraqi citizens, I think this is exactly what is coming.

The Iraqis do not like us and that verdict ~~ which I think all of us know will be a guilty and a death sentence ~~ will just be a rallying cry which will unite them even more against the "foreign invaders."

Geeeeez....George Bush.....so fucking amazing: He found a way to unite the Sunni's and the Shiites. I guess he is a uniter and not a divider after all. :sarcasm:

What scares me is that there could be some retaliation for the verdict in the U.S. ~~ since we specificially are the ones who caused the fall of Saddam.

I am having some uncomfortable feelings that this verdict is going to cause a very ugly explosion and not just in Iraq or other parts of the ME. I am hoping I am wrong about this ~~ too many innocent lives could be lost if something like this happens.

2. me thinks that this will blow up the repubs face
They think that a guilty verdict and death sentance will justify their invasion, but a full scale riot and civil war (not sectarian violence) will just illustrate the lack of plan and energize even more anti-war sentiment.

So is Osama Bin Laden. Too bad he isn't on trial. Somebody should really try to catch him.

20. Why is he a monster?
Edited on Fri Nov-03-06 02:31 PM by Bornaginhooligan
According to the courts, it's because he had people executed without fair trials for political purposes.

Do you understand the irony and hypocrisy?

21. He also gassed village, drained swamp lands that was the livelihood
of 2 Million forcing them into abject poverty and starvation, and he started a war with Iran that killed ... I don't know... 500,000. Let us not even go into the thousands of people who were murdered and raped ad hoc.

23. Nothing wrong with bringing Saddam to justice
But, he had some help getting those chemical weapons which killed 500K Iranian people. Republican help. When will those people be brought to justice?

24. And if we didn't have
an a**hat wannabe-cowboy for a (mis)leader- Saddam would be in the Hague instead of kangaroo-city.

It's going to end badly...as in "you ain't seen nothing yet!"

I really do loathe what our country has become under *'s reign of stupid, stubborn, greedy, fascist corruption.
