15. Nifty!
Even the South favors the Democrats at this point 48% to 38% with 13% undecided. That's impressive. It will be very hard to cover up the election fraud if the Repukes end up doing "much better" than expected.

5. interesting bits
83% of republicans will vote for the republican candidate but only 60% of those who call themselves "conservative" will vote for republicans. Seems like it should be the other way around if "conservative" is the far right of the republican party.

The "super rich" of over $100k are less likely to vote republican than those making between $75k and $100k.

Only 40% of evangelicals are going to vote for republicans? I thought that was a much larger driver of votes.

18. You should also keep in mind that evangelicals
are of greatest powere in the suburbs. and tend to be southerners.

If you look at the election maps. theit nubers are concentrated in areas where republicans do not need them to be. PA/OHIO in particular.

Even 49% of the more than $100,000 group is going Democrat.

Do the republicans have anyone left?

9. the repubs will say the people were called at home during the day, and
therefore were bitter, unemployed democrats on welfare.

I kid you not, that's their excuse.

10. Two things stand out
1) 87% (at least) of Blacks will vote Dem. As always Black folks get it.

2) 50% of Indy voters (at least) will vote Dem, while only 23% will vote Rep. This is where the landslide comes in.

We could break it down on class lines also.

12. I think the most interesting thing is the GOP has "lost" evangelicals
if I'm not mistaken, last election they voted GOP 80% of the time. I do not think they are as big a voting block as we assume, but it seems to me if the GOP can't "use" religious nut cases to win elections they'll stop their faith based foreign policy.

Maybe. Or at least I won't have to hear that we went to war because God told Bush he should.

24. Move all those "undecideds" over to the Republican column.
And if you don't like the idea of that, then GET OUT THE VOTE and MAKE CALLS!

Fight like we're five points down, even when we're fifteen points ahead! Otherwise, we deserve to lose.

27. This is great
and I predict we even pick up some seats that weren't on anyone's radar screen.

TN-03 anyone? CA-26? The Utah and Mississippi Senate seats?

OK, I'm dreaming about those last two. But if people do as they said they would do in this poll, we're going to pick up a lot of seats.

To swing voters, undecided, and any lurking Freepers: Don't be afraid. Do something different. Do something daring! Vote a straight Democratic ticket this year. Just go right down the list and vote for everybody with a 'D' next to their name. You may be pleasantly surprised when the Democrat you vote into office turns out to be one of the best people imaginable representing you, somebody who actually listens to their constituents. It's time for a change.
