Open letter of thanks to Howard Dean
Sir-

I would like to extend to you the deepest of gratitude for having the vision to dream big and the energy to help to implement the "50-State Strategy." Regardless of what happens on Tuesday, the 50-state strategy, to no small extent, has restored some of my faith in a Democratic party that was teetering on the edge of irrelevance.

I could go on, but I wish to keep it short, as I want for my expression of gratitude to not be lost in my expression of total glee.

Thanks,

QuidditchFan

2. Thanks for rebuilding a party infrastructure left to collapse by party leaders in 1997

Thank you, Chairman Dean. It is the party infrastructure that assures our votes get counted.

We needed a real Democrat in charge of the party to make sure that happens.

3. There was NOTHING more discouraging than being all Enthusiastic
and going to the Democratic Party and being told, in effect, "You don't matter".

I can still remember how my heart sank the first time I ran into that attitude, "You're from Kansas? Don't waste our time."

4. Couldn't agree more. The Good Doctor had the best prescription.
Good post! Whatever happens, Dean sure helped rehabilitate our poor battered party. We're so much better-positioned to win, now AND later.

5. you said
and you said it well. could not agree more.
and i will add, thank you, dr dean, for the faith you put in the grassroots. so many of the candidates poised to win congressional seats are good grassroots dems, emboldened to run, by you. the corporate party would never have let them on the ticket.

Howard Dean is the man. I've adored him since the speech where he announced his candidacy for President.
