Saddam verdict
Another evidence of the Bush adminstration's ineptitude:

"Iraq army leaves canceled in advance of Saddam verdict
Iraq's defense minister today canceled leave for all army officers, apparently fearing violence following the verdict expected Sunday in Saddam Hussein's trial."

Associated Press

How can this verdict in any way be a positive for Bush and the republicans? More violence expected, and directly related to the aformentioned criminals!

1. There will be no surprises here, regardless of what the verdict is.
Saddam guilty = increased violence, deaths

Saddam innocent = increased violence, deaths

Regardless of the outcome, it will be a powerful reminder of what a mess Bush & Co. have created in Iraq. and right before the election...if people vote with their hearts, the final chapter to this nightmare of a novel will begin Tuesday.

2. How it will be positive for Bush-
The media will ignore reprisals in Iraq and focus on how successful Bush was in bringing down that murderous tyrant.

They will replay footage of the statue coming down in Baghdad. "People" celebrating in the street. Bush in flight gear. Iraqis talking about how cruel Saddam was. How cruel his sons were. They'll show photos of the son's corpses.

Has nobody been paying attention to what the media's been doing for the last six years?

3. Name something that Saddam is convicted of that Bush hasn't done in Iraq...
Bush is as guilty of exactly the same crimes in Iraq that Saddam has committed. Of course all of the democratic sock puppets and politicians are scared to mention this truth. Poll Iraqis as to whom has been worse, Bush rule of Saddam rule....see what they say.
