I predict Gore/Obama in 08, and I stick to it! |
|
Now that Kerry proved he has a knack for unfortunate gaffes, and now that I see Gore active in politics (campaigning for dems in House races), I am pretty sure this is the ticket. Hillary I think likes her Senate seat a lot. For her that's a lifetime secure job. Why would she throw it into the wind for 4-8 years of white knuckles?

1. that might work. As VP, Obama would get les scrutiny |
|
and he is a fine speaker. Gore, well, my impression of him has continued to grow and grow. had he been the candidate in 04, he would have won that one, too.

both on the 08 ticket and on Hillary.
Of course, I agree with you, which makes me completely unbiased right?

Although I like Obama, I really think Clark has been one of our biggest champions and heros over the last few years. An Gore is my man.

7. Wow. Drop a pronoun in a joke and it's all over. You can't think of bigger gaffes? |
|
I'd say the nominee will be whoever dominates the series of debates and whoever runs on opening government up to the people. No more close the books administrations, GOP or Dem.
Personally, I can't name one lawmaker who has spoken perfectly at all times.
I also see the whole Dropped pronoun-gate story as a desperate attempt to smear Kerry before Hacking Democracy was going to show on HBO. Interesting that other Dems played along with it.
It reeked to me of a false smear designed to make the public be glad Bush was in the White House even if he stole it - EXACTLY like the Clintons trashed the WH story.

10. They'd have my vote... |
|
...but then again, at this point, I'd vote for Ham Samwhich/Bela Legosi on the Democratic ticket over what the Republicans have to offer. But I want the BEST ticket, not just the "we're not Republicans" ticket. Gore/Obama would be pretty close. So would a number of other pairings mentioned.
