San Francisco area Randi Rhodes fans!!
PLEASE contact KQKE Program Director Bob Agnew IMMEDIATELY and let him know that you want Randi Rhodes to keep her FULL SHOW on KQKE in PRIME TIME!!!!!

KQKE has decided to relegate Randi to only TWO hours per night in the 9PM - 11PM dungeon.

Scheduled to usurp her spot, is Rachel Maddow, who can't even hold her own against famous wussbag Tucker Carlson. Rachel has very little radio experience compared to Randi, and her other professional cohorts, Thom Hartmann, Mike Malloy and Stephanie Miller.

Rachel certainly deserves a break to help her develop her skills, knowledge, and presence. I think that the 9PM - 11PM dungeon is the ideal placement in the KQKE lineup.

WRITE TO BOB AGNEW NOW AND SUPPORT RANDI RHODES ON KQKE IN PRIME TIME!!!

1. MIKE MALLOY AND RACHEL MADDOW RETURN TO 960 THE QUAKE!
Edited on Fri Nov-03-06 04:56 PM by GreenTea
AND I PREFER RANDI OVER Ed Shultz BY FAR IN THE 12- 3 PM TIME SLOT!!

http://www.quakeradio.com/pages/programdirector.html

As we get close to one of the most important elections in our time, 960 The Quake is putting more outstanding talent on the air to help you understand where this country is heading and what you can do about it.

No one Air America personality's departure created as much of a stir as did Mike Malloy. 960 The Quake is pleased to announce that Mike Malloy is returning to the Quake's airwaves. On Monday, November 6th Mike Malloy will be heard live from 6pm to 9pm. Thom Hartmann will now move into the mid morning 9am to noon slot, replacing Al Franken.

There has been lots of speculation about Al Franken's future with Air America and his planned moved into the political arena. While there is nothing official at this time, it has been made clear to us that Al Franken will not be with Air America in the future. We feel it is important to you that we have the most talented hosts on the air, who will be with us for the long term. We believe that Thom Hartmann is the new rising star in Progressive Talk radio and he is firmly committed to 960 The Quake for the long term.

We have also brought Rachel Maddow back to 960 The Quake in her new time of 3p-5p. John Scott will also return to host the afternoon version of the Progressive News Hour. We feel that circumstances with Air America has helped 960 The Quake build its strongest line-up ever: Our programming is live from 3a until 9p so you can become much more involved in the Progressive Process.

Our New Line Up effective November 6th will be as follows:

6AM - 9AM Stephanie Miller
9AM - 12N Thom Hartmann
12N - 3PM Ed Schultz
3PM - 5PM Rachel Maddow
5PM - 6PM Progressive News Hour
6PM - 9PM Mike Malloy
9PM - 11PM Randi Rhodes
11PM - 12AM Eco Talk w/ Betsy Rosenberg
12AM - 3AM Lionel
3AM - 6AM Bill Press

Regarding Air America filing for Bankruptcy
Tuesday 10-17-2006 4:47pm
Many of you have read or heard that Air America Radio has filed for Chapter 11 under the United States Federal Bankruptcy laws.

Many of you have also asked: "What is the future of 960 The Quake and Progressive Talk radio?"

We want to assure you that we are firmly committed to the Progressive Talk format on 960AM The Quake with the full support and backing from our parent company, Clear Channel. Right now, Air America is addressing its debt issues and like any other business going thru a bankruptcy, it will continue with its operation as it restructures its operation.

There are many detractors out there hoping that Air America and Progressive Talk will go away. Let me assure you, 960AM The Quake is not only here to stay but we feel we are in a stronger position than ever by expanding our talent base. The additions of Bill Press, Stephanie Miller, Thom Hartmann and Lionel give The Quake a broader base and a more diverse group of Progressive Hosts.

There are also on going discussions about bringing Mike Malloy back to 960 The Quake. Stay tuned for more info.

We are very encouraged by the tremendous support you have shown for the Great Debate II at USF on October 27th. We are approaching 1,000 advance tickets which is positive proof of the demand for Progressives to be seen and heard. Click here for more info on the event and to get your free tickets today.

Also in the works- a special VIP lunch with Stephanie Miller sometime next month..stay tuned for more information and details on how you can attend.

3. I love me some Mike Malloy
and am thrilled that Truthseekers can now hear him on KQKE regularly and LIVE.

But KQKE is using Randi as the Air America scapegoat.

I can tell you that the program director will not dump Schultz. So if you are in the range of KQKE and you support Randi, PLEASE let Bob Agnew at Clear Channel know your thoughts!!

4. Randi deserves better
... than to be dumped into 9-11 PM which is a NINE HOUR time shift.

The Randi Rhodes show was their first on-air show when they went live. I remember Randi's voice calling out a special welcome to San Francisco listeners as they went on the air for the first time. (Well, technically they were airing promos for a day or so, but the Randi Rhodes show was their first actual program.)

I'm glad Mike Malloy is going to be on KQKE, but there are programs they could cut before doing this to Randi.

Why not switch her with Ed Schultz? Randi LIVE 12 to 3, Shultz 9-11 PM.

5. Why not relegate Ed Schultz to the late night dungeon instead?
He's the one on in Randi's slot. Or better yet, shove him over to the conservatives he belongs with.

I'm so tired of having a registered Republican agent provocateur being considered the star of progressive radio.
