It to Iraq. Since they think the crime and murder statistics are so high then, shouldn't we be fighting our crime over here instead of going to other countries and telling them what to do? Another problem I have with the republicons is that they would rather spend billons per week for blown up buildings and other things while people are living on the streets of America and we have other problems that they fail to address these are the biggest hypocrites in the world!

1. I saw that a couple days ago on another board

someone was parroting Rush about how 100 dead in Iraq last month wasnt that bad, because 1,200 people were murdered in the US last month and the media didnt say anything about it.

Lets see - 1,200 murders out of 300 Million Americans, gives you about 1/250,000 chance of being murdered.
100 deaths in Iraq out of about 150,000 soldiers there, gives you about a 1/1,500 chance of getting killed in Iraq.

Looks like Iraq is about 160 times more deadly than the US. I sure wouldnt want to be there.

The bush adm loves to play up the low crime rate in America, while he is creating more and more criminals due to his policies...

There will always be murders, but death in an unnecessary war is unnecessary in the first place. The odds are zero without said unnecessary war.
