Suspicious Powder Found At Schumer's Midtown Office
NEW YORK -- A suspicious powder was found at Sen. Charles Schumer's Midtown Manhattan office Friday, authorities said.

A Joint Terrorism Task Force headed to the scene at 757 Third Ave. after an envelope containing white powder was opened, police said. The building was evacuated as a precaution.

When the powder was found, Schumer wasn't in his 17th-floor office, police said.

There were no reports of injuries, and preliminary tests showed that the substance is not explosive.

9. Republican Mindset

This type of thing only goes to emphasize the desperation and mindset of republicans. Look at the email sent to Stephanie Miller telling her they would blow her apart with an AK47.

Look at the white powder sent to Bill Clinton, Keith Olbermann. AND the FBI say they don't have a clue. I can't understand how just about a month ago, someone sent white powder to a republican in California (I think CA) and within the week they had them. I think they don't really look for the people otherwise they would have found them.

And look at the anthrax thing back after 9/11. Since nobody. Doesn't this sort of make you think the FBI and the CIA sure are very effective. If they can't find any of these people, how do we expect them to find terrorist in this country. Sort of makes you wonder what in the hell has bush done to the FBI and CIA.
