It's centered on the power and respect scale. Despotism is here when there is no respect for large parts of the community (like, labeling every critic a terrorist sympathiser), and when the power is concentrated (like, inserting a reference to the power of the Unitary Executive in signing statements)

Don't forget to check it out. I like the new feature which is the video forum, but it also relegates topics based on media type to a (at the moment) lesser frequented DU forum.
