Try this on for size, here are a few things I heard on the news while driving home today:

1st Ted Haggard says he got a massage from the prostitute but never had sex with him and he also says that he BOUGHT METH BUT NEVER USED IT... how absurd. I mean really does he expect anyone to believe that rubbish?

2ns * has been traveling around the midwest today campaigning with any candidate that will still be seen with him (that was cool) but then they say * said, "the Democrats have no plan for Iraq." EXCUSE ME? Coming from him who has had no plan for years now! "Series!" C'mon!
And he's been saying it all over the country all week - what an Ass he looks like given the "plan" that he's "stayed the course" with all along.

3rd Someone was interviewing a nice lady at some Assisted Living Metropolis and the nice lady says she's on the fence about "fighting them over there" she says, we haven't had another 9-11 so maybe it's working but she doesn't like all the deaths "over there" and well, she's just not sure but she says something like "we just must get rid of those insurgents." God Bless her.

How ABSURD these soundbites are/were. What absurdities have you heard today?

1. At work
one of my co-workers, a Dem, but one who has been too distracted by personal problems to pay much attention, was totally shocked when I told her about voter fraud, irregularities, etc, etc.

She said, 'wellll..... maybe it's better not to know', whereupon someone else piped up, " OH, NO IT ISN'T!!!"

Our resident fundie left the room as usual.

"PERSONAL PROBLEM"...

And you know what they had to say about CLinton...
