10. Write a thank you note to bush for his last minute campaigning to assure that all republican candidates lose.

9. Put two bottles of champagne on ice: One for the House win, another for the Senate win.

8. Curse at how slow the overloaded DU site is working.

7. Find the least annoying websites to track for incoming results.

6. Remove any sharp objects from the house in case results turn negative.

5. Surround myself with a lot of munchies to keep from biting my nails to the quick.

4. Keep a supply of soft items such as rolled up socks close by to throw at Chris Mathews or some other cable jerk, without harming my television set.

3. Alert my neighbors that at some point I will be yelling really loudly and they shouldn't call 911.

2. Clear the floor of any stray items that might trip me up once I start pacing.

1. VICTORY! Drink both bottles of champagne, throw up, go to bed.

I'm having an election night celebration at my apartment on Tuesday night with some of my friends. We've been working our arses off to get Pederson elected.

I stopped at Costco today and picked up all the necessary food and champagne.

My next door neighbor is on the Town Council and a die hard puke. Lawn signs everywhere for all pukes. My lawn meanwhile has Dem lawn signs as far as the eye can see. It must look pretty humorous to traffic going by. In any case, if we win, Ill run out and grab all his signs, rip them in pieces, jump up and down on them, laughing maniacally while clutching said champagne...

I have a ticket to see Al Gore speak at a nearby college! :bounce: He'll be talking about the environment. There's a book signing afterwards so I may actually get to meet him! By the time I get home from that, maybe some results from the elections will be in. It's looking like it may work out to be a night to remember. :woohoo:
