Update from the Duckworth Campaign (IL:6th)

They setup 10 local offices and are planning a massive canvassing effort for the weekend. They plan to hit the entire region - 3 times before the end of the election. I am working out of an office thats a 5 minute walk from my house. I helped setup the field office tonite and will be driving canvassers around and doing other stuff this weekend.

They also have 5 phone banking centers.

This campaign is flat out committed to GOTV and is laying it all on the line with ground work until the last minute.

They also have numerous poll watchers and a team of lawyers ready.

I hope other campaigns have similar efforts. Tell us whats going on in your area if you know?

Tammy had a press conference ready to respond to the VFW endorsement of Roskam with her surrounded by 25 veterans. They were ready for that little "bombshell" by Roskam.

2. Well, there are only about 30 of us here where I live....

in the 2nd in Indiana, and an analyst from the Washington Post is coming here to interview phonebankers! We'll be working hard all weekend!!! The same ones who are phonebanking are the same ones who are canvassing door-to-door! :) I haven't been able to cover my whole precinct by myself but I signed up all of my absentee voters that I know of! I wish I had some help....it's just impossible for me to do all by myself and with having to work.

i do think that fat boy is going to get the run of his life here in the 14th. john in`t going to win but it will be closer than what i thought several weeks ago. john just does`t have the money or the organization that denny does
