This is just plain SAD.....

President Bush greets Staff Sgt. John Bennett and his wife, Dena, after departing Air Force One at the Billings airport Thursday. Bennett was injured by a sniper fire in Iraq.

Injured ex-soldier enjoys brief presidential chat

A retired Montana National Guard staff sergeant, who was seriously wounded in Iraq, said he was thrilled to meet President Bush on Thursday.

John Bennett and his wife, Dena, came to Billings from Cascade to be among the greeters at Billings Logan International Airport when Bush flew in on Air Force One.

At one point during their conversation, Bush cupped his hand around the back of Bennett's neck. Bush also kissed Dena on the check.

The president thanked Bennett for serving and asked if he will be able to walk someday. Bennett told him that he didn't know yet.

2. amazing...
The president thanked Bennett for serving and asked if he will be able to walk someday. Bennett told him that he didn't know yet.

Bush has screwed up on stem cell research that might help this young man walk again. His party opposes it. And this soldier is still gushing over this man? Do people even think anymore?

8. Bush's body says, "I am not listening to you."
He is not facing the man to whom he is supposedly talking. B's body also says "I can't wait to get away."
