Despite "recent polls", we still have a good chance of taking this seat. There a many quiet, uninterviewed independent voters who will side w/us on Tuesday. We have a "silent majority", too!

Be careful believing polls this election cycle. Pollsters are going with "most likely voters" and are using demographic assumptions from previous election cycles. This isn't going to be correct this time. The absolute numbers on these polls could be very wrong, especially those races which are jumping all over the place.

Instead, you have to look at the cumulative poll results and the trends. Where there is no consensus on a specific race, you have to throw all the poll results out.

I predict that undecideds and independents are going to break for Dems by a large margin, again more than the pollsters are predicting.

5. Ok DUers: Forget the case of beer, or dinner out tonite! Send $10, $25, or whatever you can to Webb

and McCaskill NOW!

Seriously - It's coming down to the wire and you have to ask yourself this question: If you knew that skipping dinner out on a Saturday Night or buying that case of beer or whatever special treat you might do this weekend and send it to those two candidates instead would win the Senate, would you feel better than on November 8th knowing that it was so close and that donation might have tipped the scale?

I'm about to go donate to them both...I already have donated over a $1000 in the last week to various candidates and the reality is that things are tight right now, but its kind of like dentistry and keeping your teeth - If you were 65 years old and were losing all your teeth, what amount of money in hindsight would you have spent differently if it meant keeping your teeth?

Well, instead of your teeth, think of it as saving your country and your children and future generations lives....and maybe your own to. And just remember, who gets to control the Senate is also who leads the hearings on Supreme Court Justice nominees.
