Why vote fraud may not hurt Dems

I don't believe that the Republicans are actually running this country, they just hold the visible seats of power.

The shadow government (tinfoil hats ON) of corporate interests are the real puppet masters pulling the strings, and they've always kept the two parties around to help keep the population divided and occupied.

It makes no sense for them to make a move towards one party rule in America. Doing so deprives them of one of their most potent tools--the divide and conquer.

So far, it's been in their interests to promote the Republican party. Now, with a tide of public unrest directed against the GOP, the PM (puppet masters) are sure to be paying attention. There is no way that they will let the balance of power shift too far, and the citizenry to become too unruly. The PM are evil, but not stupid. No profits can be made during times of civil unrest. We are meant to simmer, but never boil.

Further, Bush seems to be forgetting his place. His "I'm the decider" rhetoric reveals his overgrown ambitions. No, Georgie, you are not the decider. You are the puppet. You are the hood ornament. You do not even drive the car.

Bush has forgotten his place, and on Tuesday, November 7th, 2006, I believe he'll be given a gentle reminder about who REALLY holds the reigns, and who REALLY counts the votes.

Is this good for America? I can not answer that question, but I can say that it does not hurt the Democratic party.

If they really had the control the OP thinks they do, and were willing to stop despotism, they would have in 2004. Now it's too late.

The Detainee Act is from 2006, so nothing could be done in 2004, and as far as I know, talk of requiring an exit Visa is still just talk.

Regardless, the Bush administration has slid ever downward since 2004. That nothing was done (from the top-down) to topple Bush in 2004, does not mean that the Republicans are more powerful than the corporate interests that put them in power. That's flawed logic.
