5. I like Dean too...
I'd vote for him in a heartbeat. ;)

I just don't see him running this time around.

10. AL Gore is the only man with the intelligence.......
to get us out of this mess we're in. He might not be the most charismatic candidate, but after 8 years of suffering a complete idiot in the office of the President, we need someone with intelligence out the wazoo. Al Gore fits the bill. I'm not saying the other choices aren't intelligent. Hell, any one of them would bury "The Decider" in a thinking contest, but I think it's going to take a special kind of intelligence to get our country back on course. Al Gore HAS that "special intelligence".

12. Never saw that before........
thanks, Sawmpy. I do the same thing when someone gets up while watching a movie. Put in on pause and then rewind it a little so people will remember where we left off. :) That's a great video. There's no doubt in my mind that he's the man for 2008, IF he should chose to run (I think he will) ;)

Did you ever get to Jacque-Imo's the other week? I miss NOLA a ton, haven't been there since May. Hopefully I'll get to visit by the end of the year. If not, then I'll CERTAINLY be there for Mardi Gras. Take care man.

13. The Spike Jonze video of Gore is awesome!
It made me so mad in 2000 the way the media played up the tacky RNC video of Bush, but never gave any air time to this video.:grr:

19. I sitll think Gore/Kucinich is the best ticket.
It stuns me that (so-called) "liberals" would be so deluded to not go for a ticket with BACKBONE.

20. There are actually 3 in that poll
that I would be happy voting for, which might just be a record for me. ;)

Dennis Kucinich, because a U.S. with his more evolved perspective, his energy, dedication, and integrity, is a giant leap for the better for us and for the world.

Al Gore, because I've always respected him, I think he is highly qualified, and I'd feel reasonably secure with him at "the wheel."

Feingold, because I like much of his record.
