I'm imagining other normal mid-term elections back in days gone by, when I was young and my parents were voting for Dems, and my Aunt was voting for whomever was opposite of the current, just "so you don't give one party too much power",( interesting philosophy) and thinking about the simplicity of what was on their plates for consideration for their candidates. Just regular issues, not crazy bat-shit dictator fascist- stop the madness issues. I miss my Mom, Dad and Aunt. They've long passed, but I'm glad they aren't in our fucked up America now. I remember Mom was reading, " The Late, Great Planet Earth" when it first came out. I never got around to reading it, but she talked about it a lot, and I think she was really scared for us all. I'm sure she didn't envision this Great American Tragedy-King George and his Evil antics blowing it all on purpose for diabolical pleasure- for absolute total power.
