Who's to blame for Pastor Haggard's fall from grace? His fat, lazy wife

Most pastors I know do not have satisfying, free, sexual conversations and liberties with their wives. At the risk of being even more widely despised than I currently am, I will lean over the plate and take one for the team on this. It is not uncommon to meet pastors' wives who really let themselves go; they sometimes feel that because their husband is a pastor, he is therefore trapped into fidelity, which gives them cause for laziness. A wife who lets herself go and is not sexually available to her husband in the ways that the Song of Songs is so frank about is not responsible for her husband's sin, but she may not be helping him either.

The guy who wrote this is some kind of religious leader but it sounds more like a drunk guy.

1. Why are those two conditions mutually exclusive (religious leader/drunk)?

13. Yes, I'm hoping Community Property Rights exist in her state..
So you think because the MRS put on a little weight after giving
the Pastor 5 children, she deliberately let herself go, because she
felt she was insulated from infidelity issues being married to a pastor.

Is that correct?

5. Um. NO.
I've been married. Yes, when the wife gets fat it can be a turnoff - and when I got fat I'm sure it was a turnoff.

You don't get married because you're 'horn-dogs'.

You get married (at least I did) because you believe in the same things across the spectrum.

Yeah, we got divorced. It happens - belief systems drift apart.

But even when she was fat, I loved her, and lusted after her just the same...she was my wife and the love of my life.

We are still friends.

I think the religious leaders need to learn to practice what they preach - the ones that I have met who are true believers do. There a lot of them who do not.

4. You know
I really feel sorry for Haggard's wife. Not only is she married to a shmuck, now it's her fault. I hope she gets even and writes a huge Tell-All book. I'll buy it.

9. I may buy it, too
because her five kids are going to need the royalties.

I can't guarantee I'll read it.

8. I guess this misogynist fool hasn't heard about
Haggard's FIVE KIDS. It sounds like he was exercising his marital rights plenty.

I wonder if this woman hating fool has ever seen Mrs. Haggard.

12. I guess that preacher freak never saw Joel Olsteen's wife, she's a knockout.
Joel Olsteen is a seriously homely dude, but he married way above himself in the looks department

(although I hear Victoria is to flight attendants like Naomi Campbell is to housekeepers):
