I'm on my third glass of Merlot myself. Yeah, yeah I know, celebrating a little early, but I feel really *good* this weekend. I can tell you that I worked my butt off in 2002 and 2004 for Democrats, spent countless hours canvassing and putting up signs, donated money that I couldn't afford to donate, and in the end my feeling both years going into election day was mediocre and very "iffy". My gut feeling this year isn't iffy at all. This year it's excited. This is the year that all the work I did in 2002 and 2004 finally pays off. So cheers and a toast to the end of the Repug's 1994-2006 domination of Congress! Hopefully forever - that party needs to go the way of the Whig and Prohibition parties and the sooner the better. :toast:
