1. The VERY uncool thing about this is...

The developer creating these fake islands is literally sucking up the soil, billions and billions of tons, from the bottom of the sea and completely destroying the ecosystem.

That is until i found out the average temperature was like 110f all year long. I saw it originally and heard this on the Science Channels Extreme Engineering.

I was amazed at the whole project as it was shown on the T.v. program. From what i heard this one went so well they are thinking of building another.

seems I saw something about 6 mo. ago about this & there are some nefarious figures associated w/it, but can't remember the details.

that this waste of untold trillions of dollars could have improved.

While it's a marvel of engineering, it's a failure of human progress in any real terms. I see no use for this, and no gain for anyone.
