caller rattles off republican scandals and he mentioned jeff gannon last and steve says everything

was true except the last part. steve is now head of the white house press association.

Scully was on the Wsahington Press credentials board that Gannon used to get his day passes into the White House. I remember someone confronting him about this when the scandal broke out and Scully tried to pass the buck.

C-SPAN is run by Repugnicans and Scully is Brian Lamb's "right hand". The network never addressed the report by F.A.I.R. that detailed the right wing lean of the network and how it has been used by the GOOP to manipulate opinions and coverage.

scully knew that the bush impersonator was going to perform before colbert.

a tough act to follow. no comedian wants to come on after a good act. the year before, they got some

nobody like cedrick (i think that's his name) to follow laura bush's act. however, colbert was

so good that it backfired.
