Some woman was drunk and lost control and hit a lightpole and killed herself.

It's getting twice as much air time as the Saddam verdict.

Kerry's "gaffe" got more coverage this week than the Saddam verdict.

1. Saddam's verdict was known before he was captured that ain't news
And IMHO that's why there isn't going to be much bump outside the rwing. That foregone conclusion was taken into account long ago.

2. Unfortunately.......
the Sunday talk shows will be entirely consumed with it. I imagine it will be the talk for the entire day on the 24 hr. "News" channels. Will it make any difference? They're hoping it will, but I doubt it. This has been the projected result from day 1, it's not a real big surprise to anyone. And the fact that it's been timed exactly with the elections will not go unnoticed either.

3. Saddam is to the American People ...
as Osama is to the AWOL cowboy.

It really doesn't matter, it is far too late.
Saddam was 5 reasons ago for invading Iraq.

Cheers
Drifter

6. Yup
NO ONE cares. The trial has been such a kangaroo court how to, that the trial has been largely hidden from view, in order to protect the Chimperor Administration from criticism that it is performing a show trial with a pre-determined outcome.

No one cares. NO ONE.

Saddam, you are a dick, but a dick these crooks' parents put in charge in the first place.

Killing a mafia member who has fallen out of favor with the rest of the mob is never news.

Fuck em all.

See you at the polls on Tuesday.
