The story goes on, that security guards saw them on camera, and the police, the FBI and the bomb squad were called.

A news conference is going to be held in Pittsburgh later this morning.

PITTSBURGH -- As first reported on WPXI-TV, Pittsburgh Police say they arrested two men who were trying to break into Heinz Field on Pittsburgh's North Shore.

A lead investigator told Channel 11 News that, "they didn't make it inside."

Stadium security and local police are working together to investigate this incident.

And the bomb squad was called as a precaution. Alerts have gone to every stadium in the US.

PITTSBURGH - Investigators said two local college students of Middle Eastern descent were caught trying to break into Pittsburgh's Heinz Field overnight.

The attempted break-in took place around 2:30 a.m. Pittsburgh time. State police, the local bomb squad and the FBI were all called to the scene.


Authorities alerted every NFL team of the break-in attempt.
