We're going to win. You can tell by listening to Cheney.
He's making a political wall around himself. :hide:

He's saying all this stuff:

"I can't be subpoenaed"
"Foreign policy won't be based on what Congress wants"

He's preparing for the worst. :nopity:

2. I think you're right. Actually the son of a bitch may want the Dems
to win Congress, if it is a tie he would have to work so hard as tie-breaker that his cold cold heart would give out and leave his bitch wife a widow.

3. Well if he is preparing for the worst
does that include getting fitted for an orange jumpsuit? Probably not, he'd just go stand by a microwave oven and off himself....or have his hen wife rant at everyone until their ears burst.

I really think they know they are either beat or they are going to have to 'steal' this election as well. But again, I don't think they will go quietly into the night either. After all, even tho they have made millions, greed begets greed.

4. "In fact. when it comes
to deploying its Executive power, which is dear to Bush's understanding of the presidency, the President's team has been planning for what one strategist describes as 'a cataclysmic fight to the death' over the balance between Congress and the White House if confronted with congressional subpoenas it deems inappropriate."

5. If He Were REALLY Preparing For The Worst
He'd be out looking for a good deal on K-Y Jelly in the caselot. He and his Idiot Child haven't grasped the concept that they're not above the Law. I hope he does refuse to answer a subpoena - and the Democratic leadership has the balls to lock his ass up for Contempt of Congress.

11. 2 things I disagree with you about.
1) Cheney and Bush don't give a damn that the rest of us think they are not above the law. They know exactly what they are doing. Every action of this Administration has been to defy, neuter and destroy the Constitution and Bill of Rights --- to create an imperial Presidency, if not an outright dictatorship. It's neither accidental nor coincidental. It's totally deliberate, coordinated and planned. Let's not even discuss the late, lamented "checks & balances".

2) The so-called Democratic "leadership" has zero balls. There are a handful of individual Democrats with balls (Feingold, Conyers, Murtha). The rest? Hung like hamsters.
