Lets go back to the days of having the people view death sentences. I'm confident it will be shown live in the arab world, public executions are not uncommon.

I'm not a supporter of death sentences, There may be some cases where they are justified, this may be one of them, I didn't write this as I believe this result is an excuse for the mess the USA is in with IRAQ. I wrote this as there may be some ( minor ) effect on the death sentences we give out too freely in many states in the USA

is that hiding it allows people to not have to make that judgement and therefore the death penalty gets more tacit support.

regardless of the reasoning on why we would do it. i dont believe in having a weekly show on pedophiles either, as an entertainment as so many suggest to me it is educational. i dont agree. i think it feeds a society in a negative way.

It's easy to support executions and wars and draconian prison sentences when you don't have to witness the consequences. It is another matter indeed when you see the losing struggle to hold onto life, see just how much blood the human body holds and hear the unique screams of people that are dying in pain and know they will survive it.

and think that they should be televised, but let's not start with this one. We did not try him, the "Iraqi" people did. This is their game. This would only feed the savage right wing thirst for blood.

I do think that televised executions would turn people against the death penalty, but let's wait til one of our states decides to "murder" someone.
