Hoekstra pronounces it the same way as his fearless leader

any bets on whether the subject comes up?

Maxine Waters is on against him, but I'll bet neither she nor Leslie brings it up.

Hope I'm wrong, but this story is being buried.

3. If I remember to bookmark this, I'll put up the transcript when it's there.
Hoekstra is really a fricking moran

wonder how he's going to feel when Jane Harman takes over for him, and starts investigating his actions re: insisting, along with BUSH, that those secrets be put up for TERRORISTS to access

and NONE of the other shows today even MENTIONED this!!!!

surprised?

2. Hoekstra blathering about losing the war against "radical Islam"
Edited on Sun Nov-05-06 11:45 AM by Gabi Hayes
gee, what did that have to do with us invading Iraq, you DICK?

oooohhhh. Maxine just obliquely mentioned the story. saying he's still looking for weapons of mass destruction

Hoekstra talking about 48 thousand boxes of documents that need to be declassified

Wolf FINALLY mentions the NYT story about the nuke manual

Hoekstra says NTY is having it both ways, saying Saddam's program was MUCH farther along than we thought.

Oh, yeah?

Wolf says the documents are from BEFORE 1991!

at least it's a start

Will Maxine contribute to the fact, like David Albright, or David Kay, that what they did was ILLEGAL, and provides key ENGINEERING data on how to make a bomb? that the engineering expertise is what's most useful to potential bombmakers?

I'd like to think so, cause even a dipwad like me knows this (from watching MSNBC, Wolf!), but will they toss that back in Hoekstra's face?

4. now he keeps going on about how "Dems keep talking about.....
national security, but pugs deliver"

Deliver what?

Waters is giving it to him, talking about the unprotected ports, the disaster in Iraq, then Wolf cuts her off.

oops. he just cut of Hoekstra, too.

asking him why the national debt doubled since they took over.

5. LINKS to Wolf's guest list and accounts of Hoekstra's / *'s
treasonous decision to put the "Saddam Papers" online, including nuclear secrets in Arabic, for purely political purposes. They overruled their own intel experts, according to a "Weekly Standard" story 8 months ago!

Guest list for 'CNN Late Edition' is at http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=364x2576467

From http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=364&topic_id=2576159&mesg_id=2576159 :

"'March 06 WEEKLY STANDARD BUSH-PENCE-HOEKSTRA To Blame For Leak Of Nuke Secrets

Conservative publication: Bush, Rep. Mike Pence (R-IN), Rep. Peter Hoekstra (R-MI), to blame for nuclear secrets being published on public Web site by John in DC - 11/04/2006 06:03:00 PM

As you know, the Bush White House just published the plans for making a nuclear bomb on a public Web site.

We now know the reason why: Two Republican congressman and George Bush pressured the intelligence community to publish the information in a hurry, even though the intelligence community had concerns the info was too sensitive. ...'

From last March's Weekly Standard...

'Bush wants to release the Saddam files but his intelligence chief stalls. by Stephen F. Hayes. 03/20/2006, Volume 011, Issue 25

Bush replied that he wanted the documents released. He turned to Hadley and asked for an update. Hadley explained that John Negroponte, Bush's Director of National Intelligence, "owns the documents" and that DNI lawyers were deciding how they might be handled. Bush extended his arms in exasperation and worried aloud that people who see the documents in 10 years will wonder why they weren't released sooner. "If I knew then what I know now," Bush said in the voice of a war skeptic, "I would have been more supportive of the war."

Bush told Hadley to expedite the release of the Iraq documents. "This stuff ought to be out. Put this stuff out."'"

6. thanks! isn't it AMAZING that the story is EIGHT months old?
where are the M$M?????

and, of course, where are the dems?

here's where our 'reps' are:

pugs just sit there, monitoring EVERY WORD the dems say, so they can pounce on something like the Kerry gaffe, yet the dems apparently don't have anybody reading the Weekly Standard

btw, where were WE at DU on this?

7. Why the hell didn't Maxine Waters jump on this?
I just don't understand these Democrats. Are they afraid that the American public will be unable to make the distinction between pre 1992 Saddam nuclear ambitions and 2003 nuclear plans?

This is a case of Republicans at the top ignoring the intelligence agencies and putting nuclear secrets up on the Internet in Arabic no less.

This is just crazy.

8. they still haven't learned how to "play the game". they have no
boiler room

they have no Barbara Comstock

why they don't, I can't say, but it's very sad

all they have to do is have somebody monitor DU, and they'd have all the ammo they'd need to bombard the pugs with the, uh, TRUTH!!
