Was my post that hard to read? Or are you hoping to accuse me of labeling all Conneticut voters as A-holes?

just remember, Lieberman doesn't have a mandate if he does get elected. If he gets elected, he will be in state where half of the state despises him.

5. As someone who lives in Connecticut |
|
I agree. He is going to win. It sukcs for me to say that because I LOVE Lamont and think he is the best choice and the bigger man. Joe is arrogant and his ads are just nasty and he even copied one of Ned Lamonys ads where at the end Joe says I support this message with a crowd yelling AND SO DO WE!
Joe is selfish beyond words and the only comfort I get is that people now know where Joe stands. Lamont outed him. People will look at Joe differently. This still does not comfort me if he wins.I guess the fact that Karl Rove called him the day of the primarries and that Joe has been dealing with Bush and his cartel just shows how he wins. AT ALL COSTS! FAIR OR NOT! IF HE HAS TO CHEAT HE WILL WIN! ITS ALL ABOUT ME!
God I hate LIEbermen!

This guy is a traitorous scumbag that sets his agenda to achieve power and not to bring about progressive change.

We can't stand Lieberman here, but his approval ratings were never that bad in CT.

7. Because the Republican sucks |
|
Basically Lieberman is the defacto GOP candidate and has held on to 25 % of the Dems.
I'm not saying that Lieberman still isn't popular in CT, but the lack of a credible Republican candidate has really bolstered Lieberman.

11. yep he's Zell without the wild eyes, popping vein and spittle |
|
He gets "high ratings" from various groups because he has voted "with them"..but in LOSING overall votes.
It takes no courage to vote for a bill you KNOW will lose.
If he votes with dems on 90% (of losing bills) and 10% on repubiclan bills that DO pass.. well there ya go..
(I know I spelled republican incorrectly, but I left it because it almost looks "right".)

14. that's funny. wild eyes, popping veins and spittle are what GOP admire |
|
Joe's one flaw with righties is probably his calm, plodding tone (even when he is calling members of his own party dangerously misguided).

13. in Dem establishment, if control of senate comes down to 50/50... |
|
they want Lieberman on their side.
If they hit him too hard, he would be more likely to show his true colors and move across the aisle to the GOP.

but I won't be a bit surprised if he caucuses with the repunks.... I actually think it might come out 51 49 for the Dems counting LIEberman - and that pathetic puke will go caucus with the repunks and make it 50 50 -

15. Lieberman is an unusual case |
|
If this had been a candidate other than Lieberman, our party would have immediately (once Lamont won Primary) notified and reminded Democrats in CT, they were only supposed to contribute funds to Lamont--the Dem Candidate. They did none of the things usually done in such a case. "Fear" "Fear". They fear crossing Joe. He says he will caucaus with Dems. Republicans have sent him money. His support will be primarliy Republican. If anyone thinks the Republicans will not call on him to pay back his dues with votes, I have a couple of bridges to sell them. Anyway Joe ends up with more than 15 million in contributions. This is the explanation given by several pundits. Also they(Democratic Leadership) were afraid to "lose" one seat in a close election. Fear, Fear.
