WASHINGTON, Nov. 5 (UPI) -- U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney says the Bush administration will focus on the war against terror for its remaining two years.

Then he will return to private life, Cheney said.

Cheney said if the Democrats gain control of the House on Tuesday he does not expect to be subpoenaed for congressional investigations, and by tradition the president and vice president do not testify before Congress.
