Bill Mahr Disgusted Me

Considering the fact that DU has Bill on the front page, I thought I would bring up this tidbit. Apparently, he finds it funny to mock the recently dead despite the pain and suffering it would bring an already grieving family. I'm talking about his recent Halloween costume; dressing up as Steve Irwin with a bloody stingray wound and all. SouthPark recently engaged in this mockery but it is SouthPark, a show that tries to offend all and is simply a cartoon. However, I can't see someone personally taking the time to dress up for a night of fun as another that was tragically killed. Although I enjoyed his show, think he is entertaining, and agree with him on many issues, I can't honestly like him anymore. I lost a lot of respect for him. Below is his poor choice of a Halloween costume.

I'm sick at fake outrage about nothing. This Steve Irwin guy was getting close to Ronald Reagan status as far as being cannonized when in reality he made a fortune doing dangerous things to/with/around animals, it's not like he hasn't gotten enough undeserved adulation that one little Halloween costume is going to bring all these (pun intended) crocodile tears to the family or whatever. Sure it's sad what happened to him....humor is sometimes irreverent, whatever. When I'm dead Bill can go as me! WHO CARES!

Bill said something that every Dem should be screaming from the rooftops: BUSH LOST THE WAR! So he's currently my hero...nuff ado about nothin'.

11. He does have a point however about one thing WRT Irwin...

.....if you find yourself getting impaled by stingray, it might have something to do with the fact that you doing something you shouldn't have been to start with. I realize some people really liked the guy, but I couldn't stand watching him harrass wild animals for our viewing entertainment.
