What the real tragedy has been the last 5 years.
What happened on 9/11 was bad, but we've been through bad times before. Despite all the ribbons saying "we will never forget", forgetting is part of the healing process. We still remember Pearl Harbor, but it's not a searing pain today as it was in 1942. Eventually, we should have been able to absorb 9/11 and move on.

The real wound that's tearing at our guts is George Bush's attack on all that America has ever stood for. He's dragged us into starting a war that we can't end, making us responsible for thousands of deaths. He's destroying our Constitution and building secret prisons and torture chambers. He's also busy destroying our faith in the electoral system which is a foundation of our democracy. We have to be there Tuesday to start taking the country back.

3. It's from watching the Simpson's tonight.

The last scene showed a bombed out Springfield with new explosions going off sporadically. That's what George Bush used our troops to do to Iraq. We're also damaged, but our damage doesn't show yet.

I can't laugh at Bush any more tonight. It's like making jokes about Hitler.

2. I want want to be sure that we never forget George W. Bush
How this man also encourage hatred of others through fear, his destruction of economic and enviromental protections I want to be sure that generations in the future, know how bad this president is. I want our grandchildren and our great grandchildren know he bad he is, just like our grandparents used to praise FDR to us, for saving America
