Edited on Sun Nov-05-06 11:12 PM by Stephanie

I canvassed door-to-door. We had a blast!

Go John Hall!

How about you? And what are you doing tomorrow and Tuesday?

12. Boy I hope so!!
It has been really rough in NY-20! The voters are really sick of it all. I had someone yell at me and begged me to stop calling. I had another one that said that they are going to vote for everyone.

16. Ok....
I thought it was just me! It is like we need to have one statewide system where there is a database of voters. One call about all of the canidates, and that is it. People are just so mad and sick of it all. Some just aren't as passionate about politics as we are!

17. I wish I could have, but I'm having some minor bleeding
(NOTHING serious YET) with my pregnancy (no cramps - please don't consider this as a death knell) and was told to STAY OFF MY FEET until I go to the doctor tomorrow.

I've phone banked earlier, but I decided I needed to stay away from TOO much stress this weekend; however, I HAVE spread the word regarding who to contact to phone bank so that others can pick up my unfortunate, but necessary, slack.

I'll see what the doc says tomorrow about what I can possibly do Tuesday.

And, to all those who CAN phone bank and canvass, God (or, insert your spiritual being here) bless you.

Oh - and, I know Harold Ford isn't the most popular Dem on this board, but Tennessee would do SO MUCH worse with that idiot Corker... so, if you're willing to help my state out, please IM me and I'll get some info to you - help me since I can't help too incredibly much just now.

24. Tomorrow I will volunteer for John Laesch
(running against Denny Hastert). My farm is in his district and I've divided my time between both Duckworth and Laesch. My youngest daughter is going to take the afternoon off of school with me tomorrow to see Democracy in action!

Back with Tammy Duckworth on Tuesday.

Good luck to you and yours! Stay well!

part in a rally for a ballot initiate. After that I put out yardsigns.

Monday I will probably phone bank. I have to get to bed early so I can get up and work the polls.

Mr. Tesha held signs.

I can't stand still for that long, so he's the designated political
"closer". I understand that he personally and very publicly chewed
out the NH Republican gubernatorial candidate (Jim Coburn) for his
blatantly illegal placement of political signs.
