New Repub dirty trick; please spread the word.
The NM Democratic party will Monday seek a court order to put an end to the NM Republican party calling lists of registered Democrats and giving them erroneous information on their polling location. This has been happening here through the weekend.

1. Good God, and coming on top of
the robo-calls to blacks in TN telling them that if they voted for Ford in the primary, they didn't need to vote for him on Tuesday! WTF? Why in the FUCK are they allowed to even TRY to pull this shit? And how in the fuck did they get the lists of registered voters, anyway? This had damn fucking well better be plastered all over the MSM tomorrow, or we're gonna burn up their phone lines and short out their servers with email!

6. Voter lists here are public,
and the voter ID states party affiliation. Burning up their phone lines and shorting out their servers sounds like a damn good idea!

2. Robocalls are being used by the GOP in several states
One tactic they are employing is to pretend that they are calling on behalf of the DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE in order to turn off voters by harassing them with robocalls.

4. Scum is so far elevated above republicans
That we need to find a new low to compare them to. It is shocking to me that their blatant disregard of laws, ethics, and morals will let them stoop to these depths, and there is no penalty for them. I can't imagine this happening without causing a huge scandal 30 years ago. How much longer will we just resign ourselves to take what they dish out, legal or not? Can any of these calls be recorded, for evidence. They are as evil as I imagined, only more so. We have to vote in overwhelming, record numbers, to prevent our democracy from being further eroded by these criminals.

8. Some context
Wilson won re-election 2 years ago thanks to an enormous advantage in absentee balloting. One of the chiefs in the Madrid campaign told me tonight that Howard Dean had decided to make this district a laboratory for an early/absentee drive, and it appears now to have paid off. Result--there's been a huge amount of early and absentee voting.
Republicans have a slight lead in the # of absentee ballots requested, while (reportedly) the total of early Republican + Independent early voters is slightly less than the total number of Dem early voters. Polls have shown Madrid with a consistent lead: 9 points by Zogby 2 weeks ago, tightening to 4 points in a poll relased today by the Albuquerque Journal. But, it appears that Wilson cannot be saved by the absentee/early vote--she'll have to win it Tuesday, behind in the polls. Hence, get down and dirty.

12. No surprise...
There's no dirty tactic which the Republican party will not employ.

Some of us respect the democratic process, some of us don't.

Unless one is intellectually challenged in some way, it's fairly obvious as to which party is which...
